It\u2019s interesting that 6 short months ago, discussions at the supply chain leadership table involved words like \u201cseasonality\u201d and \u201cforecasting promotion demand\u201d. Today it\u2019s \u201cN-95\u201d and \u201cherd immunity\u201d. What a sh*t show.<\/p>\n

What do we do about it? We get nimble.<\/p>\n

The only way distributors will catch up to the accelerating pace of change \u2013 for this pandemic or the next big disruption \u2013 is to prioritize the creation of agility in their supply chains. And the only way to do that is through S&OP collaboration<\/a> technology.<\/p>\n

Lessons We Can Learn from the Foodservice Industry<\/h3>\n

While all industries are struggling with the breakneck pace of change right now, the foodservice distribution<\/a> industry is perhaps where we can learn the most valuable lesson in creating supply chain agility.<\/p>\n
